Windows 10: Downgrading .NET Framework from 4.7 to 4.6

    Downgrading .NET Framework from 4.7 to 4.6


    We have an application for our enterprise that is only certified on .NET v4.6 and will not compatible until next year a new release with .NET 4.7. Recently due to PCI compliance, we had to upgrade our system to windows 10 LTSC 2019 from LTSB 2016. This new version of Windows has .NET 4.7 installed. Is there a way we can downgrade .NET on this new image from 4.7 to 4.6?

    We also thank you for your interest in Windows 10.



    Method 1:

    For uninstalling a program, follow the steps below:

    Step 1: Open run command by pressing
    Windows key + R.

    Step 2: Type
    appwiz.cpl. You can see a list of programs installed in your PC.

    Step 3: Click on the program you want to install. Uninstall option will get highlighted.

    Step 4: Click Uninstall to uninstall the program.



    Method 2:

    To Turn Windows feature on/off, follow the steps below:

    For uninstalling a program, follow the steps below.

    Step 1: Open run command by pressing
    Windows key + R.

    Step 2: Type
    appwiz.cpl. On the left side panel select Turn Windows feature on or off
    option.

    Step 3: In the appeared window, check the option
    .net framework. It will now appear in the Programs and features
    page

    Step 4: Click on
    .net framework and uninstall.

    I have to remove framework 4 but there is no add or remove programs in windows 10

    also I cant find .net framework 4 on my windows 10 ?

    Based on your post, it does seem like the Net Framework is still installed on your PC. Having said that, we would like to recommend a thread that we found that can help you solve your concern. To view the suggested steps from the community members who experienced
