Windows 10: Download a 120 day of bookings .tsv file but it is empty

I have saving my .tsv file to Downloads, but there is no information save.

Excel not visible on list of applications that can be assigned as default app for tsv files

Hello,

I was attempting to assign a new application to open files, such as .tsv files, however no MS Office app is listed in the menu.

Upon trying to find Excel, I discovered there is no "Office" folder in either Program Files nor in Program Files (x86).

A search for Excel.exe yields no results in these main program folders, however, Excel.exe is found in an AppData folder "...\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps\Microsoft.Office.Desktop_[letters/numbers]" . However, when this is selected as the program
to open a .tsv file, Windows 10 Pro yields the error message "The file cannot be accessed by the system" . There are no other Excel.exe files found.

I use Excel all the time for the files it was originally associated with. It is MS Office 365, provided by my institution.

While I can still drag the files manually into Excel, it seems like it should be straight-forward to use Excel as a default App.

Downloaded files disappear


When you download a file through any browser, there's an option somewhere to 'Open Containing Folder.'

In Windows, to find a file you have downloaded...

1. Open your personal folder by clicking the Start button and then clicking your user name at the top of the Start menu's right pane.
   
2. Double-click one of the following folders:
   
   • Downloads
     
   • Documents
     
   • Pictures
     
   • Videos
     
   • Music

If you do not see the file you are looking for, but know its file name, you can search for it by following these steps:
To search for a file you have downloaded...

1. Click the Start button
   
2. Type all or part of the file name into the Search box.
   The file you are looking for will appear in the list of results.

 

How do I get Outlook 2010 to export the correct address book

I have three options listed in Outlook when I try to export a CSV contact list from the address book.. Myself, another person, and the 'Outlook Data File'. I am the default person.

When you open the address book, the choice that has the current contacts is my name-contacts. When you go to the export file section, it is called suggested contacts. If I export this file and open it in excel, it shows names and street addresses with no email address listed. There are also names in the file that are no longer in my address book.

How do I get the address book to export the current list from my address book, and how do I get the excel file to show the email address?
