    So I'm trying to download a ged.com file. A ged.com file if you are not familiar is a file used by genealogists, people working on their family trees that they can upload and share in various databases.

    My problem is that I need to be able to open a particular ged.com file but my computer is automatically formatting it or trying to open/save it/convert? it as a pdf rather than keeping it as a ged.com file.

    Once I can download it as a ged.com I will be able to open in a database.

    What to do?
