Windows 10: Download Deleted Device from Laptop

I was using my Acer Laptop, got it updated to Windows 10 today, but when I did, The Touchpad wouldn't work, and neither would the music.For now I decided to search up how to fix the touchpad on the screen, since my laptop can be touch screened, and what was said was to "Uninstall device", then press "Action", and then hit the "Search for Changes", so I did exactly this, but when I hit the search for changes, the Device did not come back.Now I would like to ask for help on downloading my HID-Compliant touchpad device back, Thank You.

Unable to delete a folder - Invalid folder name


Suggestion:

1. Run chkdsk x: /r to make sure that there's no HD corruption.
   x: is the drive containing the folder you want to delete.
2. Try to delete the folder again. If still does not work, go to step 3.
3. Download: Download - Linux Mint and create a bootable USB using: Rufus - Create bootable USB
4. Boot up with Linux Mint and try to delete the folder again.
   NOTE: Unlike WinPE. Linux does not have any Windows permission imposed to it so it is easier to delete.

The HP list can get more specific if you step backwards to https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/laptops and then enter your serial number instead of relying on the model number alone.

If the final list includes several versions of the same driver then you could usefully download the latest version in each case.

If you believe that your currently-installed drivers are correct then you can export them in an admin command window using this command -
[replace E:\DriverBackupFolders with the path to an existing folder on, say, an external HDD]

- And you can point to this folder again when you reinstall by opening Device manager & using the update driver routine for any devices that have warning icons on them - just select the option that you have the installation disk in each case and give that folder as its location.
- Personally, I use the latest drivers downloaded from the OEM and then just use the backups for cases that remain a problem.
- After that you could use the HP support assistant [which is on the HP list you linked to] to detect and obtain any drivers that are still a problem.
