Windows 10: Download folder don't showing location tab and location tab

When I click to downloads it take me to OneDrive folder, instead of download. My Download folder's location changed to OneDrive and I can't change this ,because location tab is not showing.

Location Tab Missing from Almost All Folders

I assume your referring to the Location tab in the Properties of user folders .... Documents, Desktop, Downloads, Pictures, etc

If the tab is missing, it would suggest you're not looking at/accessing the actual user system folder, but simply folders that have the same name(s).

Do the folder listing(s) in Windows/File Explorer have the user system icon, or are they just plain common everyday folder icons?

Try restoring the icons to their default location C:\Users\username\

Note : "Restoring" doesn't mean simply copy/move > paste. The registry has to be adjusted accordingly. This forum has steps to do just that ...

Looking at this part, and having second thooughts ...

Yo don't "create" user system folders, you have to re-locate them from the original system location (as indicated above).

But if you're referring to everyday-usage user-created personal folders ..... they don't have a Location tab.

 

Downloads Folder has no location tab

I have a very strange situation here. Under C: users my downloads folder has no location tab.
I have moved desktop, music, pictures, videos to another drive (E. Whats happening is I have a downloads folder and videos folder under this pc. Problem is that they both say videos and are acting as the same folder. If I put anything in either folder it shows in both. Also downloads are going to both. But I can't correct the issue without the location tab for downloads under c: users. Hope this is clear, as I'm very confused on why myself. Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated. The information provided by you in the post, seems to be the Location tab is missing under
Properties.



Usually the Location tab will be present under
Properties for the folders listed under Quick Access (Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures) and folders listed under
This PC (3d Objects, Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures, Videos).



In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please provide us the screenshot of the windows where you are not able to get the
Location tab under properties. (Please follow the steps mentioned in the

screenshot posted by Shawn ‘Cmdr’ Keene on Oct 2, 2015 to post the screenshots.) Do not share any personal information in the screenshots.
