Windows 10: Download missing "Client for microsoft networks"

Hi,I am running Windows 10 64 bit and recently tried to access a drive on my local network unsuccessfully. I went to install "Client for microsoft networks" and found that the is missing. I do not have a disk, or know the name of the file to search for. Is there a way to download this file so I can install it?Thank you,Ralph

Cannot install "Client for Microsoft Networks" Windows 10 kernel transaction error

Just wanted to add to gogocatVM's that there is no need to disable the N/W Interface. The procedure works fine without steps 1 and 4. The key is in step 3 and the order given.

In my case, I had the service "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" but didn't have the client "Client for Microsoft Networks".
Trying to install the client gave the error reported above. But uninstalling the service (no reboot) and then installing in gogocatVM's step 3 sequence worked OK.

Windows 10 Pro.
