All nine albums are now empty. I have not updated them for over a year. What happened to all the pictures? All nine albums now read zero.

In nine years over countless cases I've never seen one of the steps to Troubleshoot sleep included in the links resolve the problem.

 

What to do after burning the ISO? Do you have to install everything manually?

 

Yes you do have to install the updates manually. The idea is you download the ISO and then when you do a fresh install of Windows Whatever Version (+ Vista) you install the updates BEFORE connecting to the internet and downloading the latest updates making the possibility of your machine being attacked and comprised less likely. Also if you have slow or paid by the GB internet and 6 PC's you only need to download this lot of updates once. If your system is already up to date it will simply tell you the update is installed. So if you have metered internet go to your local library and save the ISO file to a flash drive.

Hmm...I snagged the August disc and it's nothing but 3.2GB of the August 2015 updates. And there is no installer or anything. So not exactly a timesaver by any means. I probably could have patched a live system faster than it took me to download this.

I thought this might be a disc full of ALL updates to get fresh Windows 7 SP1 install up to speed before hitting the net - but alas no.

Now, that would really be useful! I wonder if there is a way/site to obtain such a download.

This is useful, I just did a re-install of Windows 7 on a clients laptop, it took nearly 32 hours to get all of the updates installed. <sheesh> don't want to have to do that again anytime soon.

But you still need to download the ISO, hopefully that goes quicker than the standard updates do.

Which makes me wonder about Windows 10. If this is the last so-called version, what happens in 10 years from now and you do a re-install, LOL it could take up to 4 months to get it updated *Smile

 

Surely 3.2GB isn't just August updates !

 

Hi there

a cumulative ISO (or even ZIP / RAR / CAB) file would IMO be far more useful than having to hunt and search for a load of DVD's.

I also think that surely a month's load of fixes can't be over 3 GB - that's BIGGER than the OS itself !!!!.
