Windows 10: Download page for Microsoft Defender Update file

HelloI have the script that downloads for me McAfee update file daily. It uses this URL McAfee. It works fine for me. Hence I decided that I could use my script and only change the URL.I followed this URL: Update . Then I located my category i.e. "Microsoft Defender Antivirus for Windows 10 and Windows 8.1" and selected 64-bit with this URL: FileIt did not provide a list of files for download but offered me to save the file and that's it.The issue is that my script does not work with this URL because despite McAfee 'index' and list of files for download 'Defender' did not provide the file itse

All files on Downloads folder gone after updating windows defender

I suggest you to follow the below steps to recover the deleted files in Windows Defender and check if it helps.

• In the search box type as ‘Windows Defender’ and click on it.
• Under the tab ‘History’ select the option ‘Quarantined items’.
• Click on ‘View Details’ and check if any files are available.
• If the files are present then click on the file and click on ‘Restore’.
