Windows 10: Download problem with MS Flight Sim. 2020 DVD version

Hi. My name is Sheila Francis and I am having trouble getting my new MS Flight Sim 2020 DVD version down loaded. Currently it will not go past disc 3 where it reports a data error cyclic redundancy check. My PC is new with 500GB SSD and 1TB HD. I had the same problem when trying to instal the discs on my lower spec PC. The furthest that I have managed to download was disc 8 and then I encountered the same problem. My external CD drive is an Asus SDRW-08D2S-U. I desperately need help on this problem but am not very tech savvi. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

MS Flight Sim 2020. How to download

Hi Thanks for the reply.

I don't have the flight sim in my list of apps as I haven't been able to download it.

In my account in Microsoft store, my order history shows my order, and the fact that I paid £109.99. for the premier deluxe version of MS Flight Sim 2020.

I appreciate that it cannot be used until the 18th, but MS state that it can be downloaded (150GB) now, in readiness.

MS Flight Sim 2020

Having had to reload my MS Flight sim 2020 Premium Edition I get as far as entering the activation code and it tells me it has already been redeemed.Have downloaded all the discs but cannot find program on the computer except it shows as being downloaded
in the uninstall section. Help

 

Latest update will not install for DVD version of Flight Sim 2020

Hi,

I live in the UK and have the DVD version of MSFlight Sim 2020. It has worked perfectly until tonight when I got the message stating there is a mandatory update.

When the screen changes to install the update, I get a message, at the top left of the flight sim page. When I click the information tab, it gives me a Microsoft link that talks about faster download speeds. I have fibre optic direct to my house, my download
speed is more than adequate...

Please help as I am at a loss and cannot play this game.
