    Download speed keeps dropping to <10Mbps


    I have a Windows 10 machine that works otherwise quite well and without problems. One thing though is quite strange. Every now and then, the download speed suddenly drops to <10Mbps while the upload speed remains in the high 3-digits (+/- 800Mbps). I keep testing it with speedtest.net test shows then the expected +/- 700Mbps both ways.

    How could I figure out what and why this happens?

    download speed

    I have noticed a profound drop in download speed as time goes on.

    I get ~500mbps regularly that continues to drop to under 10mbps!

    When I reboot the PC it goes back up to the higher number.

    Any thoughts?

    I tried every recommendation made by Andre Da Costa with no change in th internet speed except that at the end of these the download speed had dropped by 10mbps. I did not try the DNS change as that seemed a bit extreme and not understanding all the consequences
    I elected to not make that change.

    very slow download speeds in windows 10

    hello guys..

    someone please find a way to fix the slow download speeds in windows 10..after i updated to windows 10 my download speed ended from 10mbps to 25kbps.......

    And i found that the download speed is not altered for google servers like youtube,google drive....

    all downloads from google server have their download speed upto 10mbps..
