Windows 10: Download speed on PC is so much slower than Xbox One Download speed, how do I improve?

So on my Xbox One S, my download speed varies from 60Mb/s to 150Mb/s, but my PC only downloads at 2Mb/s to 5Mb/s. I'm confused, how to I increase my PC's download speed without purchasing something?

Download speed slower than upload speed

My Windows 10 desktop has slower download speeds (10Mbps) compared to upload speeds (30Mbps). On other devices connecting to the same router, I can get download speeds of 90+MBps on our 100/40 plan.

This is true whether I connect with ethernet or wifi.

I have changed the Windows update settings that limit how much bandwidth is used for downloading updates.

I have changed the NetworkThrottlingIndex registry setting to ffffff.

Is there some other Windows setting I can find and change, to improve this?

Slow Download Speed

• I would suggest you to test the speed using any of the speed test website or app to confirm the upload and download speed.
• I also suggest you to reset the wireless router to check if that helps.

Windows 10 Download Speed vs Xbox One Download Speed

Alright so I have been having some confusion with internet download speeds. I have an Xbox One S which before I purchased a pc it was wired to the internet at all times and the download speed was great. Our internet provider gives us 100 download and around
10-12 upload which is really good for our area. When I got my PC I connected my ethernet cable to it so I would get the main focus of my internet. When I fired it up and started downloading things I noticed that mt PC was downloading way slower than my console
was. Even without being wired to the internet, my console can still get about 65-70 download but my PC only gets like a max of 12. I even tested both platforms by downloading the same game, not at the same time of course, and my console had it download way
sooner than my PC did. I am very confused as to how all of that works and why my PC downloads things so much slower than my Xbox. I don't know if there is some information that I am missing out on or what, I'm just curious as to why this happens and if there
is any way possible that I can fix it. They both have the same internet and they both were connected via the same ethernet cable but my PC downloads slower, I don't get it.
