Windows 10: Download speeds have dropped way low since Win10 installation

Probably just a fluke or silly issue, but my download speeds have dropped a lot since updating to window 10. Speedtest shows 15mb download 3mb Upload which is normal, but in apps /programs where I'm downloading games or whatever, I seems to be throttled in the 200-600kbps range and often drop to 0kbps intervals for a couple of seconds graph here. Before I was downloading games at 3mb-5mb per second. Still using the same connection. Any ideas what to look at? I'm switching to wifi tomorrow, so that could fix it on it's own.

Download speed decreased to 0.2mbit (from 6mbit) after upgrade from Win8 to Win10

Hello,

im experiencing very strange problem because download speed after upgrade to Win10 has decreased. Upload speed is still about 20Mbit/sec. I tried following:

• multiple network devices- Primary is LAN adapter, secondary LTE phone. Altough the ping is different and upload speed on LTE phone network is slower, both network connections suffer from very low speed (0.2Mbit). And yes, I tried different pc and
  
• newest drivers installed
• dns cleared
• antivirus uninstalled, no malware found. No improvement in speed either
  
• p2p update redistribution disabled

Before reverting back to Windows81, do you have any suggestions?

 

Microsoft store download speeds and windows 10 app load speeds are very slow

• The latest update I have showing is "2018-02 Cumulative update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64 based system KB4074588"
• I've tried all the below steps suggested by Eeshwar Kumar in this link: Why is Windows Store's download speed so slow?

Download speed also depends on the kind of network adapter that you have on a computer. We would suggest that you uninstall the network driver, restart your computer after to let Windows install a new driver for your Windows 10 computer.



To uninstall your network driver, follow the steps below:

• Click Start, type Device Manager, and press
  Enter. Alternatively, you can also press Windows key + X and select Device Manager from the options.
• Find and double-click the category of device whose driver you wish to uninstall (for example, the graphics card would be listed under Display Adapters).
  
• Right-click the device, and click Uninstall.
• Windows will prompt you to confirm the device’s removal. Click OK to remove the driver.
  
• After the uninstallation is complete, reboot your computer as soon as possible.
