    Download updates for Windows 10 - over and over - arrrggg


    Hello People : Windows 7 Pro the update to Windows 10 Pro was going great until I received the dreaded " Something has happened Error " . Now the Download updates for Windows 10 is happening over and over - arrrggg . Looks like around 90 Gigs so far.... Ideas .... Thanks

    My computer did the updates automatically and now I cannot open anything except programs that came on my machine. I click on icons and nothing happens-they aren't even operating in task manager. I tried to do a system restore and it could not successfully
    restore to prior to update because of "files that are protected". It is sad that I have to use an older laptop instead of my newer faster machine because it WILL NOT WORK. Please stop doing automatic updates that causes computers to become usual paperweights.

    Windows 10 updates failing over and over since KB3081448. How to fix?

    I have had a failure of all updates since KB3081448. There are suggestions for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 but not for windows 10. No error messages beside saying update failed. Suggestions?

    It lives - thanks for the help , I guess 12 times installing is the charm . All good except I need to find where in the registry to have more than 1 output for the sound ..

    Looking at my internet usage data - for the end of July it was 100GB = because of the constant re-download and upgrade failure

    Best results - ISO upgrade method
