Windows 10: Downloaded video from One drive or Dropbox is different quality than original

So when I download a video, it comes out very pixelated and the color is pale Different from original. I cannot find anything related to this on the internet.I have already tried different media players. The problem should be in the downloading process but I cannot figure out what it is.Also this started only happening recently like a month ago so it might be something in the settings??

Can't download video from Dropbox

I recorded some videos on a Samsung tablet for a university project. I uploaded the videos to Dropbox to free up space on the tablet. I now need to download the videos to edit them. When I try to download them to my laptop I keep getting a message to say
that they cannot be downloaded, but no further info. The videos are MP4's. I downloaded codec software. I'm trying to download them to external storage that is plugged in to my laptop because I haven't got loads of storage on the laptop. I have spoken to
Dropbox help who said it's not a problem their end, as the videos are working on the Dropbox site.

Any ideas? Thank you for your help!

 

Deleting Dropbox

• Are you referring to Dropbox icon/ application on Windows 10?

If you are referring to Dropbox app on your device, try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: If the Dropbox is preloaded on your desktop:

• Click Start.
• Click Settings.
• Click System.
• Click Apps & features.
• Select Get Dropbox or Dropbox X GB from the application list, where "X" is the amount of space corresponding to your promotion.
• Click Uninstall.

Step 2: If the Dropbox is a desktop app follow:

• Press Windows + X, click on Control Panel.
• Under Programs, select Uninstall a program.
• Select Dropboxfrom the list of programs, and click Uninstall.
