Windows 10: Downloaded Zip Folders - Once Extracted you can only see folders no documents

Been seeing an issue lately were different clients get a zipped folder via a download, could be onedrive or dropbox using windows 10 pro. The folder will show it has data, and you can see files and folders while it is still zipped. Once the folder is extracted it shows 0 data and you can only see folders and no files at all. I did some more testing on the pc having the issue, and I logged in with an admin account and I was able to extract the files. So I'm thinking a bad profile right? Log back in as the user and it starts working again. The user that start working just called again and is hav

I have like 30 or more folders and everyone of them has only one single zip file.
How can I extract all zip files inside of all folders?

just go to the root folder and do a search for all zip files, then select all and extract where you want.

 

Downloads folder is the Documents folder

I suggest you to Restore to Default the folders and document settings and see if it helps.

Step 1:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Download folder.
• Right click on the Download Folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

Step 2:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Documents folder.
• Right click on the Document folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

After performing above steps change the settings as you required and check if it helps.
