Windows 10: Downloading does not work.

MS Windows 11 does not retain downloads. If I download something it will appear so long as I don't close and reopen the folder. If I do that, it's gone. I note that there have been previous complaints about this behavior, stretching back to 2021. It's still an open bug. I expect that someone will present me with a series of steps that I'll follow to no avail, as that's typically what happens. Please surprise me. Maybe it's time to form a Microsoft Consumers Union? with enough participants, maybe we would be treated with the same respect as a corporation? Any interest?

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

One question thou: you suggested me to Download the latest driver package from Nvidea. However, the link you posted is for the newly released GeForce GTX 760? Am I supposed to download the drivers for that card?

Sorry for my questions. As I said, I'm not an expert at all.

 

Cheap Photo box that will get the job done

WEll i took on this project for PP hes a hardware reviewer and wants to get the professional looking pics for the Pc parts

Materials:

• Big cardboard box

• a razor

• white material 3 yards

• cone lights

• stapler

• medical tape

• pvc pipe about 6 inches longer than your box

• white paint any cheap finger paint would work

the project I'm guessing will cost me $30 if it works out properly
I will post pictures and step by step as i do it
