Windows 10: Downloading from DVD's

I cannot download games from a dvd. I have always been able to in the past. Now I get a message saying I set it up so nothing can be downloaded. Checked settings and nothing has been changed. I know I never set it up so dvd's could not be downloaded. Since I have DSL I always used a dvd for games. Any ideas???

Downloading home made DVD to copy again

It wasn't working?? When I put the DVD into my laptop, I got no option to copy, download, etc......just watch on the Toshiba video viewer.

Method 1: Run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter

Follow these:

• Press Windows key + W and type troubleshooting.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click Hardware and Devices.
• Follow the on-screen instruction to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2: Uninstall and reinstall the driver

We also suggest you try uninstalling the DVD drive drivers and check if it works for you.
Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Right-click on the DVD drive listed and click on Uninstall.
• Select the option to Delete driver software.
• Restart the computer after it is uninstalled.

Note: We suggest that you also get in touch with your computer manufacturer and ask for assistance on how to download the latest chip set drivers.
