Windows 10: downloading progress stuck during chinese language pack downloading windows 11

Hi, Persistent issue encountered during attempt to download chinese language pack with Windows 11. had tried all the previous posting solutions, still doesn't seems to be able to resolve the download stuck at its progress. Is it still persistent Windows Update issue that still cannot be resolved ? " Faced issues to upload screenshot " but same screenshot as other users had posted.

Cannot Download all language options in Chinese (Simplified) language pack

Anup, Thank you for helping, but it did not solve the problem.

I installed the Chinese language pack from "Add a language" in "Time and language" page in settings; therefore, I think it is a Chinese language of Windows 10 home. The only reason I was trying to uninstall it was to replace it with a pack that I directly
downloaded from web. Which failed to work, but it will be okay if we can solve the problem from another angle.

I tried to follow the steps that you suggested me, I changed the setting for "override on default input method" to Chinese, restarted my computer, the problem is still there; then I changed the same setting to English, the problem still persists too.

Do you have another approach?

Can't download simplified Chinese language pack on Windows 10

Thanks so much for your response!



I went to “settings”,“time & language“,”region & language”,
“simplified Chinese”, “option”, then
“download language pack”.



It shows that “language pack available“ under the simplified Chinese option. But when I click
“download”, the processing bar disappears and it will show
“searching for language pack” if I go one step back and after a few seconds it shows the
“download” button again. It doesn’t really download when I hit
“download”. I’ve tried many times and restart the computer many times. Nothing helped.



It allows me to download the simplified Chinese keyboard and input method but not system language.



By the way, this is a brand new laptop I just bought last week. I really don’t know why. Please let me know what I should do to fix the problem.
