Windows 10: downloading wpl file into Windows 10

I'm trying to download a wpl audio file from my e-mail in Windows 10. When I start download I get taken straight to Windows Media Player library which says it cant find the file. Can anyone help please?

To stop the download, uninstall the KB3035583 update (under "Control Panel > Windows Update > Installed Updates").


To get rid of the C:\$Windows.~BT folder:

• Right-click on your C: drive.
• Select "Properties".
• Click on [ Disk Cleanup ]
• After the initial scan: If you have a [ Clean up system files ] button, click it and wait for the second scan to finish.
• Scroll down the list and look for "Temporary Windows installation files" (its size should be in the gigabytes range); check the box.
• Click on [ OK ] to start the clean-up.

 

Photos wont open wpl file

A playlist is not audio. It's just a list of audio files in a plain text list (you can open the WPL file in Notepad and see it's just a list that names where all your audio files are for that playlist).

To use audio in your video, you need to record and choose an actual audio file type like wma, mp4, or wav. You probably already did that, you just need to select those files instead of putting them all into a playlist.
