Windows 10: Downloads and updates not working

I have attempted to update and download apps that are either in the Xbox app or in the Microsoft Store, and I can't seem to download or update anything. I've tried installing Minecraft Dungeons, but the game wont download. This problem happens in both the Xbox app and the Windows Store. I've also tried updating other various apps that the Windows Store says needs updating, but it will never update them. It just sits there with the words "starting download", and nothing ever happens.


Also, my computer wont Download updates from settings either. I keep getting a message that says: "There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: 0x80080005".


How do I fix this issue where nothing will download or update?

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Asus Taichi 21 outer screen does not work

Mogyie, thanks for that. I gave my daughter a Taichi21 for Christmas and the Win8.1 update managed to trash it.

In Step 5 had to download BIOS 205 (TAICHI21A), 211 was rejected by WinFlash (downloaded in step 4).

I also had to download the Intel Graphics Driver from the VGA downloads. I had to run this after Step 9 to get the second screen to work.

You set me in the right direction, thanks.

 

Windows 10 Creators Update Available for Download

Not sure about the games you listed but no probs with Dirt Rally and benching heavensward-bench here for me. I'm going to test 3DMark too in a few minutes.
