Windows 10: Downloads deleted accidentally

Discus and support Downloads deleted accidentally in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I have been downloading PDFs of articles I found in GenealogyBank.com newspapers for quite a while.     Downloads deleted accidentally


    I have been downloading PDFs of articles I found in GenealogyBank.com newspapers for quite a while. Today for some reason all of them were deleted from the folder I had in my Downloads called Walter Ignatius Montana. How can I restore them?

    Printer accidentally deleted

    I accidentally deleted my printer on hp laptop windows 10 and now it does not show up in the list of printers to reconnect

    Need suggestions to recover deleted data from HDD

    As is my username I was a bit of a big n00b this morning, installing a fresh Win8 and accidentally deleted my downloads HDD instead of my SSD, don't ask, I was hungover is all I can think.

    It hasn't been formatted or touched since I pressed delete so am hopeful I can recover most of the files, any suggestions for software to do so?

    Unable to delete a folder - Invalid folder name


    Suggestion:
    1. Run chkdsk x: /r to make sure that there's no HD corruption.
      x: is the drive containing the folder you want to delete.
    2. Try to delete the folder again. If still does not work, go to step 3.
    3. Download: Download - Linux Mint and create a bootable USB using: Rufus - Create bootable USB
    4. Boot up with Linux Mint and try to delete the folder again.
      NOTE: Unlike WinPE. Linux does not have any Windows permission imposed to it so it is easier to delete.
