Windows 10: Downloads file disappeared after moving from C: to D:

To be honest, not entirely sure what I did. I think I probably just dragged the entire folder from C to D, hoping to clear space yeah..., and now the entire folder is missing, and I'm not sure if it's interfering with anything else. I can't find the download folder with any searches, nor can I recover it.

How to Move Files (not Apps) from C to D?

I’m asking this common question because of the many different explanations on how to move data files (not apps) from C to D. Some instruct use Windows Explorer, right click Folder > Properties > Move Location; others suggest drag and drop, or copy and paste from C to D. Some say to use command scripts or registry changes, or Partitions. What is the safest way?

• Do I also need to make any changes to my Shell Folders and/or User Shell Folders too?
  
• Finally, for the Folder Change Location method, some instruct to move location to D:\Documents, for example. Why wouldn’t the path be D:\users\NAME\Documents?

Moving files C to D drives in Win 10

I want to move Skype from C to D disk. But is not possible to Click on Location tab, is not active..

 

MOVING FILES FROM C TO D DRIVE

I've been trying to move my folders from C drive to D drive to free up space but its telling me the folder can't be moved here as there is a folder in the same location even when i delete said folder from D drive.

Any suggestions as to what i'm doing wrong please
