Windows 10: Downloads folder can't have Grouped None inherited to sub-folders

I'm so sick of Downloads sub-folders opening as grouped. I don't want them grouped. I use Detailed View for a reason.Apparently there's no way to have them inherit Grouped None. When I go into Downloads > Properties, only the General tab shows; not the Customize tab or any others. I'm seeing no reason, explanation, or workaround to this.I get the Customize for Documents > Properties. I can set what kind of type I want the display optimized for. It's already set to Documents. That's great. Now I need Downloads' sub-folders to work the same way without me needing to set each one.Right now

Folder restrictions and inheritance with AD groups

So i have 2 groups for sakes of simplicity i will call them Access-Yes-yes and Access-No-Yes

we have a folder structure of \\server\folder1\ (contains hundreds of subfolders)

Group Access-Yes-Yes should have access to everything in those subfolders, which they do.

I want the AD group Access-No-Yes to have full access to Folder1 but then only to folder2 (which is a subfolder in there) and no other. so \\server\folder1\folder2

Well when i add the group Access-No-Yes to the folder permissions, it is automatically granting them access to every sub-folder in folder1 when i just want to limit that group to folder2.

I'm trying to work out specifically which inheritance i need to disable. or how specifically i need to apply permissions, IE which group do i add to which set of folders.

You can move the sub-folder by dragging the sub-folder from the other Picture Folder up to the main Picture Folder. However, the sub-folder will remain as a sub-folder.

If you want to make the sub-folder as a stand alone folder, we suggest that you create a new folder on your desired location, then move over the files from the sub-folder to the new folder that you created.

  Where are you trying to create a sub folder is it on mail app or other application?
  

If it is mail app, unfortunately there is no option to create a sub folder in Mail app, I would suggest you to share your feedback in Windows Feedback app.
