  1. Downloads have started aborting frequently

Without any cause that is obvious to me, downloads have started failing frequently on one of my computers (my laptop), but not on the other (desktop) computer where everything seems fine. They are both on Windows version 1909 and are connected to the same router. The problem of downloads aborting on the laptop happens both over wifi and over ethernet (via a USB 3 hub / ethernet adapter). It happens in my browser (Chrome) and in other applications, namely iZotope Product Portal and Ableton Live Suite, where they are particularly frustrating because I am trying to do 80 or 90 GB of downloads and I have to restart each one from the beginning each time it fails.

The problem is new and I first noticed it yesterday when Chrome couldn't even manage small downloads of 80 or so MB without me having to manually resume each one several times. I also at that time noticed that my desktop couldn't access my laptop's shared folders, saying that it didn't recognise the name of my laptop even though I had just clicked on it in Explorer's network tab. This seemed to get fixed by a reboot and I was subsequently able to access the laptops shares without problem from the desktop computer, but now the problem has come back, although not quite as severe this time. I am at least managing to get some of the big downloads to succeed.

As for connecting to the shared folders on the laptop from the desktop. Right now the name of the laptop does not appear in the Explorer network tab on the desktop, but I was able to access the laptop's shared (Users) folder by clicking on the same share, to which I have ascribed a drive letter, in "My PC".

So, to sum up, downloads from the internet are all of a sudden failing on the laptop, and only the laptop, via two different network adapters, and the behaviour of the laptop as an SMB server is erratic and inconsistent. What can I do to fix this?

EDIT: I've rebooted the laptop again and now it is once again accessible from the Explorer network tab on the desktop, and I've got seven big downloads going at once in Ableton Live without any of them failing in the few minutes since I set them going again. So clearly a workaround is to reboot the laptop, but how can I fix the problem properly?

    :)

    Trouble downloading docs from web

Its certainly complex to list step-by step, as most procedures are, but easy to use once you are familiar with it. I use it frequently.

Build 10049 Will Download But Aborts Installation

Forgot to mention the latest message I got when install aborted on pristine 10041 was "• fbl_impressive 10049 Professional - Error 0xc1900107. Despite searching, I can find no workable answer for this error message concerning build 10049. I am going to try downloading again (absolute pain in the rear-end), and hopefully get a valid install.esd.
If by some chance I get an install.esd which I think is for 10049, I will try your kindly suggested esc to iso approach.

New here and seeking for help: problems with graphic card

Thanks very much lilhasselhoffer. I'll start doing what you suggested step by step.

One question thou: you suggested me to Download the latest driver package from Nvidea. However, the link you posted is for the newly released GeForce GTX 760? Am I supposed to download the drivers for that card?

Sorry for my questions. As I said, I'm not an expert at all.
