    Hello!


    So i just wanted to ask if there is anything that is planned to be done about the DPC latency problems that turned up after windows 10 1809.

    So 1903 and 1909 are causing major DPC problems that can be measured by latencymonitor.


    I can confirm that for the lenovo thinkpad P1 GEN 2, high end mobile workstation... reverting to windows 1809 fixes all problems with DPC spikes of "ACPI.sys" and other drivers. Regardless of which versions of drivers are installed and regardless of windows settings.


    This problem can also be replicated on many other laptops.


    It's not important for the average user, but for anyone doing anything in real-time audio work, or even just trying to use an audio interface with ASIO drivers... this presents a major a problem since it's impossible to avoid audio crackling and stuttering.

    V1903 Causing DPC Latency Hits

    I use my desktop for general PC ops and also for my recording studio. With all versions including 1809 I haven't had any issues with latency/clicks/dropouts in audio, etc. Resplendence Latency Mon shows no problems. However, with 1903 there is Latency problems. The "culprits" according to Latency Mon are USB bus and/or High Definition Audio (Realtek). I've restored my PC back to the 1809 5/22/19 disc image I did before upgrading to 1903. I've run Latency Mon again after restoring and still no issues (with 1809). This has also been reported on the gearslutz forum by another user.
    Here are the Latency Mon screenshots, both for 1903 and 1809.

    DPC latency tests. High latency?

    The DPC Latency Checker is invalid for Win 10. Latency Mon shows system does not have any DPC Latency problems.

    Wi-Fi is a known cause of the problem you are having. Does it only happen with on-line apps?
