Windows 10: DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION How do i fix this?

Hi,I am not a native English speaker, so I can make some mistakes.So recently I wanted to play the new game Marvel Rivals, But I was required to have Direct x12 on my pc and the only way to get it was by updating my nvidia graphics drivers, but a while after i did that i have had this mutiple times in the past, my pc started to crash every time it booted up with the error code :”DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION” or something.I want to make use of my pc with the updated drivers and no crashes what so ever. How can I fix this?Regards , Milan

Blue screen: DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION

After a recent updating, my machine has blue screen every 5 - 10 minutes.

The error code is DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION

I saw another post here which suggest to use "iastor.sys". But I don't have that in the driver list. Mine is storahci.sys.

Unable to fix DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION

Hi,

Thank you for the minidump files and as per the logs, the issue is caused by ntoskrnl.exe so I suggest you follow the below steps to fix the issue.

Step 1:

Go to search box next to windows icon and type Edit Power Plan

Step 2:

Then click on Change advanced power settings

Step 3:

Expand Harddisk and then expand Turn off hard disk after

Step 4:

Set value for On battery and Plugged into 0 (Zero)

Step 5:

Click/tap on Apply and then press OK.

Step 6:

Restart the PC

Let me know the status after performing the above & if in case it doesn't resolve the issue will provide you with further steps to fix the issue.
