  1. DPI issue when connecting/reconnecting to HDMI

    Hi all,

I got my Win10 updated from Win8.1 about 4 months ago.

Recently, to be exact about 1 months ago I've started getting the blurred font issue referred as DPI.

I can confirm the problem only persists when I connect or disconnect my external screen.

When you boot into Windows 10 there are no issues at all, however as soon as you connect your computer to the external Screen that screen would get blurred fonts in certain applications such as Excel, Viber, Word etc.

If I logout and login back with my screen still being disconnected - the problem fixes itself.

Exact same issue is observed when you disconnect the screen: it required another logout/login to fix the fonts.

I've tried XP Explorer but it would not help in my situation.

I usually have 125% zoom for my DPI setting.

    Thanks,

    Jay

    :)

  2. Windows 10 File Explorer Process Closed (without error-exeption)

    Hello!

maybe my english is not very good und pure, but what a bluetooth and vga? i dont say anything about it and dont connect with help of bluetotth or vga with my display(i mean monitor 21" = a device that by hdmi-cable can display a screen from laptop(there
    is no bluetotth or vga)).

the problem is if i set the DPI to = 175 (like on 1 post screenshot) with connected hdmi display, the explorer can't work normally. it's just closed(screenshot here), after i try to open it. if i set dpi = 150, all is ok.

now i try to explain step by step how this to reply this bug on my laptop

    - connect the display by hdmi.

    - by win+p set "only display(last option)"

    - check dpi = 175

    - try to open explorer...

    - the process explorer just die, without errors messages

    - stert process from taskmgr

    - set dpi = 150

    - try to open explorer

    - its open perfectly

    Best regards.

    Thank you for Reading it.

  3. Default Playback devices are not retaining their settings.

This isn't the case for me. It resets randomly. Sometimes after start-up I will check and resets the settings. Sometimes after disconnecting from HDMI to receiver and reconnect it resets.

My laptop is connected via HDMI to 5.1 receiver. I set it to 5.1 but frequently it resets to stereo. It should remember for my receiver the settings I chose so that when I reconnect it maintains those settings.

I have not noticed this to occurr during updates only.
