Windows 10: DPI Setting changes in game - MW3

My mouse DPI has started to be effected within Modern Warfare 3. Whilst in game I hear a noise that I have an alert to an app or something which I expect to pop up on the screen, but there is nothing to reference why the DPI settings are changing in game. The moment it happens, I lose control of the mouse for a second and then the movement in the game has gone. I have to press the button on the DPI settings to go back to normal. Its happening often in each game and its ruining the gameplay. At the same time the mouse wheel is also used for changing weapon in game. The change results in my guns

The change results in my guns getting stuck in a spin to change the weapon and once again is effecting gameplay. Any ideas why this is suddenly happening? Its only started happening this week and ive been using this mouse without any issues for the last 2 years.
