Windows 10: DPS WATCDOG Violation and How to fix

I recently encountered this blue screen error DPS WATCDOG VIOLATION, seemingly out of nowhere it started happening I have tried to scan for malware and nothing came back and it started off as just crashing at random times to now becoming almost impossible to have it working for longer than 2 minutes before the error appears and now is crashing within 30 seconds, can anybody help me. I need the pc for classes and assignments urgently.

Getting the DPS WATCHDOG VIOLATION error is usually caused by outdated graphics card driver. Since you've mentioned doing some changes, we would like to verify some information.

• Have you performed any updates or made any changes on your computer prior to the issue?
• What browser did you use to view a video? Did you encounter the same problem using other browsers?
• For what device did you perform a driver software update?

For us to isolate this problem, we suggest updating the driver software of your graphics card. Here's how:

• Right-click the Windows key and click Device Manager.
• Expand the Display adapters category.
• Right-click your graphics card and click Properties.
• Click the Driver tab and click Update Driver.
• Follow the on-screen instructions.

In case Windows is unable to find a new driver for your graphics card, we suggest that you visit your device manufacturer's website and download the updated driver.

DPS Watchdog violation whilst installing windows 10

Hi all,

As the title says I am getting "your pc ran into a problem and needs to restart" "DPS Watchdog violation" when trying to install windows 10. Because there is no operating system on the HDD I cant do anything except restart the pc.. Can anyone help with this
please?

• Install the DP update
• Rollback to the previous ROM. See this
