Windows 10: Drag and Drop....Cut and Paste not working

Discus and support Drag and Drop....Cut and Paste not working in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; My Windows does not allow me to drag and drop file or folders even if i Cut or Copy files they just don't do...I have tried all the the suggestions...     Drag and Drop....Cut and Paste not working


    My Windows does not allow me to drag and drop file or folders even if i Cut or Copy files they just don't do...I have tried all the the suggestions given by Microsoft and Youtube, any one with a solutions, I have ran out of ideas * Moved from Community Center

    Hi Charles,

    the steps you suggested didn't work for me but, when pressing the escape key it somehow expanded the drive and by using drag and drop to the single file in the list worked.

    In the past I could drag and drop multiple folders onto the drive on the network computer(s). Doing it on individual folders will take far too long and time consuming and is not an option.

    Microsoft should be able to identify what is blocking it and issue a fix.

    My machine is multi boot so tomorrow I will try with Windows 7.

    Win 10 Home - Cut & Paste or Drag & Drop Crashes File Explorer

    Since upgrading to Windows 10 - Each time I drag & drop or cut & paste a file File Explorer crashes. The action is implemented, but I have to reopen File Explorer and work my way back to the folder I'm working on. This happens when working with one or
    multiple files.

    Ideas? Suggestions?

    Thanks for those suggestions. Unfortunately no errors detected and no change in Explorer re cut/past and drag/drop

    When you say 'check for add-ons' where do you suggest looking please?
