    Drag and drop gets progressively slower to react on drop event.


    Experiencing an issue with dragging and dropping files, which gets progressively slower to react to the drop event, eventually taking several seconds to react as I drop a file within a target. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening? Restarting resolves the issue.

    Hi Charles,

    the steps you suggested didn't work for me but, when pressing the escape key it somehow expanded the drive and by using drag and drop to the single file in the list worked.

    In the past I could drag and drop multiple folders onto the drive on the network computer(s). Doing it on individual folders will take far too long and time consuming and is not an option.

    Microsoft should be able to identify what is blocking it and issue a fix.

    My machine is multi boot so tomorrow I will try with Windows 7.

    Drag and drop gets progressively slower to react on drop event.

    VB.NET combobox drag and drop no longer is firing the drag drop events

    Up until possibly the last windows 10 update, my app and its controls were working fine with drag and drop. Now they do not. The drag drop events are no longer being fired. I have tried everything I know to try.
