Windows 10: Drag and drop with slimpen 2 or touch doesn't work

Hi, is it normal that I can't drag and drop anything but icons on the desktop and text only inside the app Word ? I bought the surface for study and this function is very important for me. I searched everywhere and i didn't find any solution. In Particular i need to drag portions of text from a pdf reader/browser to word, but when I select, touch and drag the text doesn't "lift" like it does with the left click of the mouse. After I keep pressed with the pen/finger the selected text nothing happens, or it will select the single word when is placed the tip of the pen; and if I try to drag the s

Ok... windows 11 has been released, but the drag and drop feature doesn´t work... where i can feedback this suggestion?

Hi Charles,

the steps you suggested didn't work for me but, when pressing the escape key it somehow expanded the drive and by using drag and drop to the single file in the list worked.

In the past I could drag and drop multiple folders onto the drive on the network computer(s). Doing it on individual folders will take far too long and time consuming and is not an option.

Microsoft should be able to identify what is blocking it and issue a fix.

My machine is multi boot so tomorrow I will try with Windows 7.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.
