Dragging windows across screens is inconstantly broken when dragging windows

When I try to drag a window across screens with a high DP mouse the window and cursor get stuck on the edge of the screen. It won't let the cursor across into the next screen while dragging the window. With a lower DP mouse it works fine. I have All 6 sub settings under "Snap Windows" turned off so it behaves basically like snap in Windows 7.When I turn on the setting for "When I drag a window, let me snap it with out dragging all the way to the screen edge" the issue disappears but that not a behavior I want turned on.

    :)

  2. Drag and Drop

    Hi Charles,

the steps you suggested didn't work for me but, when pressing the escape key it somehow expanded the drive and by using drag and drop to the single file in the list worked.

In the past I could drag and drop multiple folders onto the drive on the network computer(s). Doing it on individual folders will take far too long and time consuming and is not an option.

Microsoft should be able to identify what is blocking it and issue a fix.

My machine is multi boot so tomorrow I will try with Windows 7.

    Many thanks for your help,

    Deric

  3. windows 7 drag drop

Does anyone know of a way to change the default windows 7 behavior of copy pasting dragged items between drives to just cut and paste? Seems like a really necessary convenience for anyone wanting to run a small boot SSD.
