    Found the solution on Installing or opening issues in Dreamweaver CS6

    With command prompt as administrator: sfc /scannow

    After complete (long) process, start Dreamweaver MX.

    Dreamweaver MX Not Seeing Network Files in 10

    The Title/Subject says it! When I open Dreamweaver MX, which worked perfectly in XP and in Windows 7 and 8, it reports that I do not have permission to access network files and asks me to consult the network administrator. (Love the assumption that everybody
    actually has an IT department.) I have tried running the compatibility troubleshooter, running AS administrator, without success. (Return, though, to fact that I'm not "IT" - I could easily be missing something, doing something out of order - ?) All advice
    appreciated, though "Just download a newer Dreamweaver" is not a "Just" here and I would most appreciate help in making MX work; I need to get some work done without time lost RIGHT NOW to a learning curve!
