It does not chance a thing !
Set on fastboot disabled, gave the CMD ,rebooted, skipped the checkdisk (!), and rebooted ok.
Again this strange looking reg-key ,after the reboot , this time with your reg-key behind it .............!??
So, what you see on my upload and your "autocheck autochk* " after it.

Fast Boot isn't the same as Fast Startup. Double check using the tutorial link above to see if it's also turned off.

That's what I had in my registry after running the command to schedule chkdsk to run at startup.

  3. I dont have a hybernate-file at all , so its all disabled, but it did not chance the fact ,not possible to make a checkdisk before reboot.
I wonder ; if the checkdisk in Windows ( so with the checkdisk by clicking on the OS-partition in "This PC" ) goes well ,and no further actions are required, is there still any need to perform a checkdisk before reboot ( with CMD)..............???

If you can run chkdsk from within Windows 10 using Option 2, then there's no need to do so at boot.

  5. Yes, we can do so !
And ,afterwards, see the results in the eventvieuwer; " no further actions are required " !
This means this thread is solved ?
Remains the question ; why not possible to make a checkdisk before reboot.
Brink, if you say ; all is well and keep it as it is, then its fine to me also............

Yep, as long as you can run chkdsk inside Windows, you're fine. *Smile

It seems like something is blocking chkdsk from running at boot on your PC. Possibly "Secure Boot" or a 3rd party security program?
