Windows 10: Drive gone from c to x.

Discus and support Drive gone from c to x. in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Did a system restore and could not get into my laptop C;drive and the drive showed as x:.     Drive gone from c to x.


    Did a system restore and could not get into my laptop C;drive and the drive showed as x:. Tried the automatic help but was no use, just kept looping. Any ideas please, and note I'm not a PC expert. Thx Tony

    BSOD - drive C changed to drive X

    After the restart following the 11/18/2017 Win10 64bit Pro update, I have the BSOD with stop code 0xc000021a. I am able to access the command prompt....Troubleshooting revealed that what was drive C is now drive X. At the command line, I can access a drive
    C is but it is empty. A directory listing of drive X appears to show everything that should be on drive C. I suspect the update possibly failed at some point causing this problem. How can I fix it?

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

    C: Drive Admin Share Keeps Enabling

    Hi,



    Thank you for your response.



    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.


    • Press Windows +E,

    • Right click on C: drive.

    • Select Sharing Tab.

    • Click on Advanced Sharing.

    • Uncheck “Share this folder”.
