    Drive Power State Failure Blue Screens in new PC build


    I am a novice PC builder and recently put together a build. Everything was going fine until a few days after completing the build when I started getting occasional blue screen crashes. They have only been happening about once a day, but I have been unable to resolve them so far. Most of them have happened when I wasn't actually present at my PC, but the ones I have been able to see the error message for have said it was a DRIVE POWER STATE FAILURE. The steps I have taken so far to attempt to resolve this are as follows:1. Tried to update all my drivers. chipset, graphics card, etc2. Did a fr

    It is possible that the error Driver Power State Failure you received is can be caused by
    the driver itself or power settings.
