Windows 10: Driver didn't install and I can't cancel

Discus and support Driver didn't install and I can't cancel in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; My trackpad stopped working so I tried a bunch of ways to try and get it working again, including downloading the driver outright and installing it...     Driver didn't install and I can't cancel


    My trackpad stopped working so I tried a bunch of ways to try and get it working again, including downloading the driver outright and installing it that way. I left the installation overnight and it still hasn't completed, and attempting to cancel it just pops up with a message that I can't cancel because it would make my laptop unstable.

    Notification didn´t appear

    Windows 10 has ben released for 1 day and a half,and I didn´t get the notification for installing.I reserved it.Can anyone help me?

    PS I am running Windows 7 and it´s up to date.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your help but... it didn`t work, I get the same error...

    I would like to try some more solutions before reinstalling the Windows, so if you can assist me a little bite more... Driver didn't install and I can't cancel :)... it would be highly appreciated.

    My touchpad drivers are missing and it doesn`t work

    Hi Paloma, thanks for your help, I haven`t been able to solve the problem, I can`t try the first solution because when I enter to device manager, the driver doesn`t even appear, secondly I tried installing the driver that you gave me, but it didn`t work, and I also installed the manufacturer`s tool and tried scanning for missing drivers, but it said that all the new versions of the drivers were installed. I`m starting to think that maybe its a hardware issue, but I don`t think so, because when I first got this laptop it was working, and as soon as I updated the drivers, it stopped working
