Initially thought that windows stores my drivers in there but once I took a look inside there were 2 folders inside

Decided to look up both and it seems to be some kinda automatic driver installer, don't know how it got there but the previous owner probably installed it themselves.

    SDI - Snappy Driver Installer

DriverPack - Driver installer or something.

    Are these safe to remove?

  2. C windows installer folder - Delete?

So I personally don't have any problems with this folder at the moment but one of my friends is wondering if it's safe to delete everything in that folder since he is trying to free up some space on his hard drive. Thanks!

C windows installer folder - Delete?

He can do symbolic link redirection and move the files in it to a different location. *Wink "Driver" folder taking up 30 gigs on my C Drive, is it safe to delete? ;)
Better try it out in a virtual of first. Just a suggestion.

    Like:
First move everything in c:\windows\installer to d:\installercache
    Then delete c:\windows\installer folder
Then type this in command mode as admin
    mklink /d c:\windows\installer d:\installercache

Removing those installer files is a bad idea. it might prevent you from updating or uninstalling apps.
