    Driver for Bluetooth Hands-free Audio: This device cannot start. Code 10 {Access Denied}

Using Windows Home 10. Version 10.0.19043 Build 19043. Dell XPS 15 about 6 years old. The error message continued: "A process has requested access to an object, but has not been granted those access rights." I did uninstall and install. Checked the driver. Downloaded a version of the driver from Broadcom and restarted. Same problem.I found this out as I started using a Sennheiser Bluetooth earphone. I have to remove and connect again to get it to work, which is cumbersome. I am assuming that the above problem is causing this, but am unsure.

    :)

  2. Bluetooth issues (Code 43 on the bluetooth driver, and code 10 (access denied) on the hands-free audio driver)

I did those steps numerous of times and I got the code 43 fixed and the code 10 (access denied) for the Hands-Free audio still exist and I still cannot connect my Xbox One S controller to it, even with my USB Bluetooth device by ASUS. The one in my ASUS
X54C works without issues. Thanks for the tip. I also notice I don't see the Bluetooth Hands-Free service in the services applet.

Scratch that: it's giving me that error code again. I also did the steps on that site and it's still giving me issues.

Here's the message I get when I try to pair my controller:

    And my phone:

  3. Audio Service not starting - access denied

My audio service is refusing to start regardless of what I try on Windows 10 1803.

    I have attempted the following:

    • Re-installing audio drivers
    • Updating audio drivers
    • A full virus scan
    • A disk check
    • An SFC check
    • Making sure all the dependencies of the Windows Audio Service are running
None of these have succeeded in changing anything.
Whenever I try to start the audio service, I get this error message:

Driver for Bluetooth Hands-free Audio: This device cannot start. Code 10 {Access Denied} [IMG]

This made me think it is potentially the firewall messing everything up, so I start up Windows Defender and get this error message:

Driver for Bluetooth Hands-free Audio: This device cannot start. Code 10 {Access Denied} [IMG]

Are these two problems related, and does anyone know how I can fix it?

    EDIT:
The Windows Defender Antivirus Service and Windows Defender Antivirus Network Inspection Service are both not running, and when I try to start them I get this error:

Driver for Bluetooth Hands-free Audio: This device cannot start. Code 10 {Access Denied} [IMG]

I imagine that this is connected in some way but I have no clue how to fix it.

  4. Driver for Bluetooth Hands-free Audio: This device cannot start. Code 10 {Access Denied}

Bluetooth issues (Code 43 on the bluetooth driver, and code 10 (access denied) on the hands-free audio driver)

I recently purchased an ASUS PCE-AC55BT network card that has both Wireless AC 1200 (Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260) and Bluetooth 4.2 (Intel Wireless Bluetooth(R)) that requires an open USB 2.0 header on the motherboard. After I installed the card and
its drivers, everything was working, for the most part. And after I restart the computer or attempt to pair my Xbox One S controller via Bluetooth to my desktop, everything goes south. The Bluetooth driver throws a code 43: Windows has stopped this device
because it has reported problems (Code 43). The only way to get the Xbox One S controller to connect is by the Micro USB cable.

    Specs:

    ASUS PCE-AC55BT*

    AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-core AM3+ CPU

    ASUS M5A97 R2.0 ATX Motherboard

    nVidia GeForce GT 730

Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro USB

    Razer Naga Mouse

    Razer Hex RGB Keyboard

SanDisk Ultra II 480GB SSD (Microsoft Windows 10 Pro x64 Build 17134.472 version 1803)

Seagate FireCuda 1TB SSHD (games and data)

Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD (data and beta games)

Altec Lansing 2.1 channel with dual line-in

    Samsung SyncMaster 215BW

    ASUS KV222M

    LG Blu-Ray RE

    LG DVD-RW

Multi card reader + USB 2.0

    Antec 650W ATX PSU

    7-port USB 2.0 Hub

Logitech RumblePad 2 (for older games)

Xbox One S Controller* (Bluetooth for modern games, like Fortnite or Everspace)

    * currently not working correctly or won't connect.

The picture above is the Bluetooth Hands-Free Audio driver that's throwing the code error along with the access denied error. How does one go about fixing the code error 10 message? I also did the following with the diagnostics:

    1) Re-installed the Bluetooth adapter drivers

    2) Ran SFC /SCANNOW in Command Prompt (nothing found)

    3) Ran the troubleshooting in both the Bluetooth portion and hardware & devices under the find and fix other problems category to no avail**

    4) Re-seated the card and the Bluetooth cable that's required to no avail

    5) Updated the drivers to the latest one to no avail

If I run the Bluetooth troubleshooting, I get the code 43 on the card itself.
