Windows 10: Driver for Bluetooth sound system BthA2dp "was not migrated due to partial or ambiguous path"

I am using Win 10 on a Dell Precision 7510 Notebook. I am trying to output sound using an external Bluetooth sound system "JBL bar 5.1". I had used this sound system without any problem until several months ago. Then I have not used it for several months until recently. When trying to use it recently, it was possible to pair and connect to this sound device. However, once connected, windows is unable to actually use this device, it simply does not appear in the list of usable sound output devices, and it shows up as "disconnected" in the sound control panel. I figured that the reason for this problem is that thedevice BthA2dp "was not migrated due to partial or ambiguous path". A Google search in the internet revealed that this problem is likely associated with a Windows 10 update. Indeed, in September probably after I had last successfully used this sound device, a new driver "Driver Provider: Microsoft" was installed, and unfortunately, there is no option to roll back to the previous driver. It seems this Windows update overwrote a working driver with a faulty one.


Now, I already contacted the manufacturer of the sound system as well as Dell for a working driver, both told me that Microsoft must provide a working driver and not them. So, here I am asking for a working driver.

It is possible MS update installed an incompatible driver and that is why it is saying Device DISPLAY\CHRC378\4&2e2e29c0&2&UID198147 was not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match.

There is no rollback option for the Generic PnP monitor, dfriver. There was one for the Intel (R) HD graphics family adapter so I rolled that back to no effect. It still says device display not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match.

I've had another go at pointing driver updater to the correct driver by using I have disk or search for driver/s manually to no effect.

this happened after I installed the latest update and it wont let me roll back
