Dell Photo Printer 966 Drivers for Windows 10

Hi Denise, thank you for the great instructions.. I followed them and I was able to get my Dell 966 Photo All-In-One Printer working again. After I received Microsoft Windows 10 Updates my Dell 966 Photo All-In-One Printer stopped working. I followed your
detailed instructions to delete and reinstall the Vista Service Pack 2 in Compatibility Mode (Vista SP2).

I was able to test print but now when I send my print files to the Dell 966 Photo All-In-One printer they do not print now. When I run the following command;

C:\Windows\System32\spool\
The Print File
Created is a TYPE: SHD File and a Shockwave Flash Object
Instead of a Normal Print File.?

Denise I could not locate the steps to correct this Print issue and I was hoping that you might know the protocol that I need to follow to get my
Dell 966 Photo All-In-One Printer working again.

Dell Photo 966 Printer Not Working After Win 7 to Win 10 upgrade

Dell Photo 966 Printer Not Working After Win 7 to Win 10 upgrade and message from Dell says they are not working on a Win 10 driver for upgrade and if I get it working, no guarantee that all features will work! Help!

Update: Don't believe other comments elsewhere that you need a new Dell Photo Printer 966 due to no driver support from Dell. I kept tweaking and got mine printing again. Delete printer from control panel listing, unplug power, unplug USB, reconnect, and
restart computer, after applying any troubleshooting fixes listed by Win 10. Worked for me! Printer prints again. Keep trying!
