    My Touchpad won't turn off since I upgraded to Windows 10

    This is what I figured out for myself:

    Go to " Touch pad settings".

    Change it to " lower sensitivity", then click on "Additional settings".

    Click on HP Control Zone settings (I have a HP laptop some call it the click zone)

    There I disabled each individual touch action done by the touch pad.

    This does not turn off the Touch pad totally, BUT.... it did turn off many of the touch motions and lowered the sensitivity so I am now able to type without a jumping problem.

    For people who like to toggle back and forth between touch pad and pointer... I do not have an answer. I never use the touch pad so this was the only fix I could figure out that worked for me on my HP Laptop. Hopefully the next update will not reset
    the changes I have made.

    This issue has been complained about by so many people I had hoped they would have a better fix by now.

    I have an HP Pavilion Touch Smart and after installing Windows 10 the sensitivity of the touchpad is way to sensitive. I cannot touch it without it just going crazy. It will enlarge things to 200% in an instant. It will shrink the screen and pull up Cortana
    also. I cannot find any settings for sensitivity. I have found setting for mouse and touchpad and there is no place to adjust the sensitivity. This is driving me crazy. HELP!!

    I found .Net had a lot to do with unusual issues. Boot in safe mode, remove the lower versions and try again.

    Having upgraded from Windows 8.1, HP Quick Launch "SP59927.exe" no longer works... I un-installed and re-installed, regrettably to no avail.. Someone might say, you must wait for HP to release new drivers!!!! that someone must have never worked for an international company like Microsoft or HP... I ask, what was HP doing during (and before) the Technical Preview period when it effectively was a large scale testing platform... Why at least an experimental release is not ready...

    I happen to have an HP M6 laptop and I reported to HP (long time back) that under 32 bit Windows, the available memory is only 936mb usable/available... Have they done anything... no... I guess they believe the laptop comes with Windows 8 64bit and no one will use 32 bit Windows anyway..

    I am due for an upgrade and am already looking somewhere else.
