Windows 10: Driver is unavailable

Hello, I bought a Canon printer and I am unable to print anything from my computer. I can copy and scan documents, but cannot print anything. I have tried using the Installation CD that came with it. No luck. I tried Canons website. It didn't work. I even had Canons technical support on the phone for an hour and he couldn't figure it out. So what is the problem? I have been noticing the "Driver is unavailable" on a lot of things on my computer. Why can't my computer download the correct driver. It's a Window 8.1 Is that it? Is that the reason? Windows 7 and 10 you can probably install the soft

• Open Device Manager.
• Look for Mice and other pointing devices and click it to expand.
• Check if there is a driver for the wireless mouse.

Receiving error "Driver unavailable." is self-explanatory. Usually, a driver is built-in when using plug and play devices such as flash drives. To address the issue, I suggest that you reinstall the driver.

Here's how:

• Press Windows+X, and then select Device Manager.
• Locate the flash drive's driver, right-click, and then select Uninstall.
• Restart your PC.

If the above solution doesn't help, you may need to download and install the needed software from the flash drive manufacturer's website or better yet, contact the manufacturer for assistance.
