Windows 10: Driver Issue in HP 247 G8

I bought an HP 247 G8 Notebook which ships with Free DOS. I did a clean install of Windows 10 on it as the Website says that the notebook supports both Windows 10 and Windows 11. The notebook has a Ryzen 3 5300U Quad Core processor with 8 GB RAM and AMD Radeon Graphics and a 14 inch screen.After a clean install i went to HP site and launched their 'autodetect system software' and downloaded and installed all the drivers including the BIOS driver.Then i went to AMD site and did the same thing. But the device manager still shows a driver issue. Contacted HP support over WhatsApp and they say its

HP Printer Driver Issue

I understand that you are unable to use the scanner of your HP Officejet 3830 printer. I’ll certainly assist you with the issue.



However, please let us know:

• What happens when you try to use the scanner?
  
• Do you receive any error message/code?
  
• When you say “they can't reinstall drivers because they say Windows 10 is blocking it” what is the error message you see when attempting to reinstall the driver?
  
• Which build version of Windows is installed on the computer? To check type:
  winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
  Enter.
  

I would suggest you to try running HP Print and Scan Doctor on your
computer. This will diagnose the issues with Printing and Scanning.



Please reply with more information on the issue to assist you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps.

HP printer driver bug/issue

I had an HP printer a couple of years ago, and since changed brands, but when I follow these steps, no HP shows. I only see my current printer. So if it's not listed I guess I don't have drivers for it anymore?




Also what about people who are just simple users, and will have no idea what to do? I know a couple that just let Windows do everything for them. This seems like a nightmare if a fix isn't pushed automatically since there will be a lot of people affected, and not even know since they don't even follow tech news for things like this.
