    Driver needed for the NVMe


    HI, I have a HP Laptop 15-dw4023nu 6X8Z4EA, from few days I am traing to install Windows 11 Pro without any success. The problem is with the driver for the NVMe, I cannot see the SSD : I tried several different drivers Intel RST without any luck, unfortunately there is no information or driver on HP support page : Also the BIOS is pretty simple, there is no any options for the storage.

    Nvme enclosure "No Drivers are Installed for this device"

    Hi, it is a Samsung 980 Pro M.2 nvme in a USB m.2 nvme enclosure.

    I have updated all motherboard and USB drivers, no change. Please advise possible next steps...

    USB thumb drives work fine.

    Will I lose dual-booting if I clone HDD to NVMe using Macrium?

    NavyLCDR - interesting suggestion - connect the NVMe drive before running the steps in the amazing article I linked to? Just to see that the 7010 (in each of Win 10 and Win 7 booting from the HDD) recognizes the NVMe for storage purposes, and that therefore each Win has the drivers for the Samsung NVMe? I like it.
