Windows 10: Driver Pack configuration taking long

I installed driver pack on my HO Elitebook 840 G2.

It has been taking up to 2hours without the progress bar leaving 77%

Please what should I do?

If that is stuck scanning, then you should restart your PC to stop that process . . .

With regards to drivers, Windows 10 installs most if not all your drivers and once installed it will keep them up to date

If there is a specific driver you need for your system then the support page for your PC on the manufacturers website is the best and only other location you should download drivers from

Driver utilities are not something you should consider using, Windows 10 updates so often, it can take software developers time to keep up and those utilities are renowned for installing wrong drivers and sometimes even bricking Windows 10 . . .

 

Self-configured keyboard?

Thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to configure the keyboard layout:

• 
  Open Settings and click on Time and Language.
  
• 
  Click on Region and Language.
  
• 
  Add the Country and click on add a language and select the language of your choice.
  
• 
  This will take time to download the pack.
  
• 
  Once this is done, Press Windows key + Space and press Space key to choose the keyboard layout.
