Windows 10: Driver Power State Failure, Video DXGKRNL Fatal Error

Hello. I have a problem, my laptop frequently got a bluescreen with these two stop code DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE and VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR, i do nothing and literally just turned on the laptop. My laptop is Acer SF314-54G. I've updated my driver and all but nothing works. The bluescreen is still there. Driver Power State Failure & Video Dxgkrnl Fatal Error BSODs

Hi Sumit,

The Video Dxgkrnl Fatal Error BSOD doesn't appear in almost a week, I think I solved it by uninstalling driver from GeForce official site using DDU and installing the one provided on the Asus page. Please note the driver from Asus is older than from the
official GeForce driver.

But the Driver Power State Failure came back just a minutes ago, I was rushing turning on my laptop and open Chrome, the display turns black and it's not responsive even for CTRL + ALT + DEL command.

Driver Power State Failure & Video DXGKRNL Fatal Error BSODs for past 5-6 Months

Hello,

My Asus X510UN Laptop is suffering from
Driver Power State Failure & Video DXGKRNL Fatal Error BSODs for 5 to 6 months now, these BSODs are much more frequent now a days, especially this week. Previously it only
happened 2-3 times a week, now it happens 6-7 times a day, whether I am browsing web, Programming, logging in from cold boot & sleep.

I first encountered these issues when I updated my windows from 1803 to 1809 version of windows, since then these errors are some times rare some times frequent, but remained unsolved even after trying many methods.

It MOSTLY when in idle state or after closing a heavy game or application.

All drivers are up-to-date. Any help would be appreciated Asus X510UN i5 8250U 8GB RAM Intel UHD 620 & GeForce MX150 Current Version: Windows 10 Home 1903 (18362.418)
