Windows 10: Driver state failure + video memory management internal

    Driver state failure + video memory management internal


    Everyday im getting often BSOD, with both the mentioned errors. No hardware changes, already scanned for malwares/virus. Windows Updates up to date.


    My specs are:

    ASUS GL552VW

    i7 6700HQ

    12 GB RAM

    Nvidia GTX 960m

    TOSHIBA HDD 7200rpm 1TB/ WD green SSD 256 GB


    Mostly happens when playing games, at the beginning only happened with high graphics games, nowadays even with videos like netflix/youtube i get bsods.

    Windows 10 Daily BSOD: Video Memory Management Internal + Driver Power State Failure

    I am using a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series x64 laptop with Windows 10.

    Since January 13, 2016, I have been having two different errors on a daily basis.

    Whenever I resume my laptop, I may encounter a video memory management internal error, then the laptop restarts.

    Whenever I am in the middle of using my laptop, I may encounter a driver power state failure error, then the laptop restarts.

    I have been experiencing these two errors daily following some system update. All my drivers are up to date at the moment.

    I have all the dump files but I have no way to upload them. Can someone please assist?

    driver power state failure help!

    It is possible that the error Driver Power State Failure you received is can be caused by
    the driver itself or power settings.
    To address your issue, we suggest that you follow the steps shared by S M Mahmudul Hasan
