Windows 10: Driver Support One programs

I kept getting messages from "Driver Support One" that my drivers need updating. After a scan they claimed that there were 4 drivers out of date. I was having a lot of trouble with performance of my laptop and I thought that the drivers may have been the problem.

After deciding to download the updated drivers, as follows:

- Intel R Management Engine Interface

- 2020-05 Cumulative Update for NET Framework WindowsUpdate

- Security Intelligence for Microsoft Defender Windows Update

- 2020-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Ve......


Since downloading these updates, I have had trouble particularly with Microsoft Outlook which keeps disappearing which is a pain. While I am able to get it back easily, I am wondering if I have been scammed by Driver Support One in getting me to pay for their product.


Can I rely on the Windows updates for my updated drivers ?

Should Uninstall the Driver Support programs ?


Driver Support One are in Austin, Texas while their bills are coming from PayPro Global in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. While I am in Australia.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
